Blue Corner Marine Life:
The place for Sunfish, giant marble rays, sea snakes, barracuda, giant trevally, lionfish trigger fish, nudibranchs, emperor angelfish, blue spotted stingrays, scorpion fish, reef sharks, dolphins.
Blue Corner Details:
This site off Nusa Lembongan is a sloping reef with a terrace at about 24 meters; the corals and marine life are not as rich as sites on Nusa Penida but for some reason the sunfish love it! However, the currents are so strong in this area that you can take a group of the most experienced divers to Blue Corner but still not guarantee diving.
We dived this site one New Years Day and enjoyed dolphins and sunfish, a total surprise as the waters were warm and it wasn’t the season; this proves great diving can be had at Blue Corner. When you dive this site at the right time it is a fantastic site; at the wrong time it may be your last site. Make sure you dive with a very professional dive guide who knows the site!
A word of warning
No matter how experienced a diver you are, listen to your experienced guide as the currents on this site can be very unpredictable with strong down and up currents.
