If you want to relax and get away from it all then read on as our new ‘Getaway’ package might be just what you’re looking for; it has been specifically designed to incorporate the best of Balinese culture and relaxation with world class diving.
You’ll escape to the unspoiled north of Bali where the fish are plenty but the tourists are few, you’ll dive the pristine reefs of Menjangan, discover ‘magical macro’ at nearby Puri Jati, explore the legendary ‘USAT Liberty’ shipwreck and enjoy the peace and quiet that is diving in Amed.
You’ll also get to indulge in Balinese Massage, marvel at the luscious rice terraces of Tegal Alang and watch the sunset over the Temple of Uluwatu.
Day One:
Transfer from Denpasar airport to the north of the island (approx 3.5 hours by road). Overnight accommodation in north Bali.**
Day Two:
Enjoy breakfast and head off to Menjangen National Marine Park (approx. 1 hour) for 2 x dives. Don’t forget Eel Garden and those incredible Gorgonian Sea Fans. Optional night dive at PJ - $45. Overnight accommodation in north Bali.
Day Three:
Time for a critter hunt today at PJ (5 mins drive) so grab that camera as we’re going to search for mimic octopus, flying gurnards, and ambon scorpion fish. Enjoy a night dive at PJ. Overnight accommodation in north Bali.
Day Four:
Rise and shine for an early start as we go Dolphin Watching in Lovina. Enjoy some time by the pool and then enjoy an hour of Balinese massage. Optional night dive at PJ - $45. Overnight accommodation in north Bali.
Day Five:
Two more dives at Menjangen National Marine Park today, there are many amazing sites to choose from so let your professional guide choose for you. Optional night dive at PJ - $45. Overnight accommodation in north Bali.
Day Six:
Pack those bags as we’re going on a road trip to the diving resort of Tulamben (approx. 2 hours). Enjoy 2 x dives in the Tulamben area including 1 x dive on the USAT Liberty Shipwreck, the top site in Bali. We then recommend an afternoon nap as you’ll need to be refreshed to explore the wreck by torchlight! Overnight accommodation in Tulamben Resort.
Day Seven :
We highly recommend an early start for diving in Tulamben this morning as you’ll enjoy better visibility and fewer divers, it’s well worth getting up for! We’ll then do 2 x more dives in the Tulamben area, maybe wall diving at the Drop Off or the beautiful reefs at Mystery Rocks. Optional night dive $45 for those with the energy! Overnight accommodation in Tulamben Resort.
Day Eight :
Today we’re venturing in to Amed, a Balinese village where time has stood still. Enjoy 2 x dives on the beautiful reefs and maybe spot some turtles, reef sharks or pygmy seahorses as sightings are popular in this area. Enjoy lunch at the beachfront restaurant before heading back to your accommodation at a Tulamben Resort.
Day Nine :
Two more dives in the Tulamben area, maybe you’d like to try some macro diving at Seraya Secrets or maybe you’ve got a favourite site that you want to revisit. It’s your last chance so let your guide know if you have any special requests. Transfer to the south of the island. Overnight accommodation in Sanur Resort.
Day Ten :
Enjoy a lie in today or maybe a spot of souvenir shopping in Sanur;  in the afternoon you’ll head south to enjoy a traditional Kecak Dance amidst the beautiful surroundings Of Uluwatu Temple; you’ll then drive to Jimbaran Beach for a delicious seafood dinner. (approx. 40 mins by car). Overnight accommodation in Sanur.
Day Eleven :
Today you’ll be driving to Ubud (1 hour) one of the most popular spots in Bali, you’ll marvel at the breathtaking Rice Terraces at Tegal Alang and enjoy the markets and handicrafts of charming Ubud. (expect to see a roaming monkey or two from the nearby forest!) Spend an evening in Sanur, there are plenty of bars and restaurants to chose from.
Day Twelve:
Sorry but we’re going to have to say good bye to you now as we transfer you back to Denpasar airport.........and hope to see you again next year!
**Please not that if you arrival late in the evening, you will stay overnight in Sanur and then transfer to the north the following morning. We would also reverse days 2 and 3 so that you have less travelling.
