diving bali with Blue Season Bali win seven months instructor training with Blue Season Bali

PADI Professional Diving- your lifestyle.

Dive industry supportI have been a PADI professional for the last several years working my way around the Indo-Pacific: New Zealand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines. I now live in Bali- a tropical island which happens to be one of the world's best diving and surfing destinations. I am not leaving this place!

I ran a corporate consulting company for five years before I got tired of spending every day inside a box. I decided to change my life. I started diving.

I get inquiries every day from people who are discontent with their work placement or are looking for a way to escape the current employment climate for a few months/years and live somewhere more exciting. Welcome to Bali.

The best thing about my job- I mean the best thing- is that I get to help people escape their mundane day-to-day slump and start a new life doing something they genuinely love- scuba diving. Right now, as you sit wherever you are, reading this on your computer, do you look forward to getting up and going to work tomorrow? What will you do when you get there? I'll be diving tomorrow.

If I can do it, you can do it... and we can help you.

Total training: True Professional Development

Diving is a lifestyleIf you have taken the time to read the preceeding pages and have a look at the inclusions in our professional programs, I hope you are beginning to understand our level of commitment to complete training. It's what we do.

Every single internship participant is given access to more than a dozen additional development programs which are completely designed by our staff to make you an employable divemaster or dive instructor after your training is complete.

We don't just train you up and then cut you loose. Part of our responsitbility as a PADI Career Development Center is to help our graduates find paying work in the dive industry. Have a look at how we do it.

Total Support: Job Placement Programs

CV Workshop: Any professional in any industry needs to know how to effectively market him/herself in that particular industry. We will go through and help you highlight your personal talents and strengths which are particularly applicable to the dive industry.

Our CV workshop is available to all of our internship participants to help you gain every possible advantage in the market. As a CDC, we get heaps of CVs per year. Let us show you what works.

www.PadiMembers.com: This website is operated by PADI and is a great resource for diving information, standards updates, and employment opportunities. We have a seminar designed to help you set up your account and then go through establishing your personal professional profile. A complete overview of the members' site is given to help you understand all the support that is available from PADI.

Complete PADI trainingMarketing Yourself: We have developed sales and marketing seminars designed to not only help you sell courses, equipment and experiences- but also sell yourself! You are your number one asset when it comes to securing employment. We can show you effective ways of establishing contact, interviewing and getting the job!

Continuing Education Counseling: There's no doubt that instructors are more employable than divemasters. There's no doubt that MI's are more employable than SI's. Don't know what I'm talking about yet? No worries- we will explain all the options for you to become as skilled and qualified as you would like.

Personal Networks: The dive industry becomes a small world when you've done it for a while. Our senior development team members have personal relationships with dive center managers and owners all over the world. A phone call from any one of us may get you a job- if you have earned it.

This part of our job placement program is applied on a case-by-case basis and is made available to particular graduates who show the right attitude toward work and professionalism. I'm lending you my reputation if I make that call and I have to make sure you'll back me up when you start work. Sound fair?

Total Success: PADI GoPro Challenge

Complete PADI trainingWinner, Asia-Pacific 2008: Edward Cardwell is one perfect example of our job placement program in action. Ed did his PADI Instructor training with us here at Blue Season Bali. After proving his commitment to professionalism and excellence, he was offered an opportunity to teach in one of the world's most amazing dive destinations.

Ed Cardwell went on to apply his newly developed skills and talents to become the highest certifying instructor in all of PADI Asia Pacific in 2008, winning him that year's GoPro Challenge award and a shiny new Doxa dive watch.

Ed got this opportunity through a direct personal recommendation by one of our professional development team. You see, I had Ed's job back in 2007 and stayed in touch with my old boss. Now do you see what I mean about this being a small world?

Total freedom: It's time
