Tour Description:
If you’ve always dreamed of snuggling up to a dolphin then this incredible experience will not disappoint you. Dolphin Lodge is located approximately 20 minutes from Sanur in the south of Bali; on arrival you will be given a brief by your guide before taking a five minute boat ride to where the dolphins are located.
You’ll go down a few steps in to the water and your own dolphin will await you; your guide will teach you how to get the dolphin to react and perform tricks for you – the dolphins enjoy human interaction and can be quite affectionate – especially when you have a fish in your hand to feed them! There are 8 dolphins and you will be given 40 minutes of fun with one of them; the Dolphin Lodge always tries to keep the groups to a minimum of 5-6 guests.
Tour Duration: 3-4 hours
Pickup times: 9.00am, 12.30pm, 15.00pm ( the boat ride to place where dolphins are located starts 45 minutes later – 10.00, 13.15, 16.00)
Includes: Pick up/drop off (from Sanur, Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa, Jimbaran, Kuta, Seminyak), complimentary tea/coffee or water, life vest, 40 minutes with one dolphin. Â Â Â Â
What to Take: Camera (no flash photography to avoid hurting the dolphin’s eyes), money for drinks, swimming suit, sunscreen, change of clothes because you will get wet.
Additional Info: All jewelry must be removed so as not to scratch the dolphins, lockers are available but it might be best to leave valuables in your hotel safe. Showers and changing rooms are onsite so that you can freshen up before returning back to your hotel – towels are provided.
Board games and a big trampoline are available for children to use while they wait for transport from the Dolphin Lodge to the dolphin area. In case of rain your interaction with the dolphins will be rescheduled to another day; if this is not possible then a full refund will be given.)
**Dolphin Lodge is closed on Thursdays.
Recommended For: Almost everyone – we found this to be a very enjoyable experience and one that stays with you forever.
Not Recommended For: Pregnant women, anyone with a history of epilepsy, children under the age of 5 years or below the minimum height of 1.35m are not allowed in to the water with dolphins. Proof of identification may be asked for if a guest does not meet the minimum height requirement.
