As with all PADI professional diving courses, you will be expected to give your all to succeed. You will be with others like you who are also working to become PADI Instructors and find work in the diving industry. Working as a team is necessary and will give you much greater success. Our three full-time PADI Course Directors will be with you throughout the course to ensure that you have the best possible start as a PADI Instructor.

The 28-day PADI IDC starts with a few days of workshops where we will complete the following:
- IDC eLearning - live delivery for those who have not done the IDC eLearning online
- Compressor workshop
- Equipment maintenance workshop
- CV workshop
- AWARE workshop
- Open Water Course workshop - learn how to actually run the most popular course in the world.
PADI Instructor Preparation Course
Once we have completed the workshops we will continue with the PADI IDC preparation course. This is designed to get you refreshed with all the basic scuba skills and knowledge that you will need for the Instructor Course.
We will also do some in water workshops such as:
- Control workshop
- Descents and Ascents workshop
- CESA workshop
- Rescue workshop
- Professional skills review
PADI EFR Instructor
The EFR Instructor Course will teach you valuable teaching techniques to successfully help your students learn how to be safe and effective Emergency First Responders. While this can sound like a daunting prospect, we are with you to help you learn the most up-to-date practices and procedures. This course is required in order to become a PADI Instructor and takes just a day and half.
PADI Instructor Course
Now it's time to begin the actual components of the PADI IDC for real as we go through the AI and OWSI components. Here we will teach you how to present knowledge development presentations, confined water and open water teaching skills from the many PADI courses available.
The IDC is a developmental course which means we will guide you through the course and help you improve until you are ready for the PADI Instructor Examination and life as a PAD Instructor. During the program we give you as much in water time as possible in order to improve your skills and teaching abilities. If you're not so confident in your abilities right now, don't worry! There is plenty of time to practice and remediate. This is a major reason why we have created our exclusive 28-day PADI IDC program.
PADI Instructor Evaluation - IE
After successfully completing your PADI IDC and EFR Instructor program, you will now be ready for the PADI IE. This is where you get the opportunity to show the examiner that you are a PADI Instructor. No one will teach you, no one will guide you. It is all up to you now. But you should not be worried as the experience will not be new to you as you will have already successfully completed many confined water, open water and knowledge development presentations.
After completing the PADI IE, the next thing to do is celebrate! You are now a PADI Instructor!
PADI MSDT Preparation Course
Once the celebrations have calmed down and you have had a day of rest then we will start the three day PADI MSDT preparation course. This great added extra for the new 28 day PADI IDC teaches you how to conduct, market and promote five PADI Specialty Instructor Courses. The five included in this package are Deep, Wreck, Drift, EANx and Oxygen Provide Specialty Instructor. This will set you apart from the other newly-qualified instructors. We know what it takes to succeed in this industry and that's what we aim to help you acquire during your PADI IDC in Bali.
