Blue Season Bali Staff - Jonathan
Jonathan Cross is one of Blue Season Bali’s owners and is currently the only Course Director here teaching the IDCs, (that is until Tom and Taka get back from the CDTC in Malaysia next month).
Jon has been an owner here for 6 years now after working his way through Australia and spending lots of time plying his trade in Indonesia, where he has now lived for over 12 years. He is the only native English-speaking course director in Bali and is a multiple award-winner.
Jonathan is Bali’s only resident Platinum Course Director, which just goes to show for the hard work and dedication that he puts into all his Instructor Development Courses. With over 4000 dives in this area alone, Jonathan’s knowledge of the dive environment is second to none, I think he just wishes now that he could get back in the water more often; I know for a fact that he can’t wait to teach an Open Water Course soon.
Jonathan has recently been celebrating his success as Bali’s leading Course Director after receiving an award from PADI Asia Pacific for conducting the region's best Instructor Development program. This wasn’t the only award that Blue Season Bali won, as we also ended up with the region's Outstanding Dive Business Award as well!
Jon, like Tom West, considers himself a bit of a pool shark, and when these two ‘titans’ clash you expect to see sparks, mainly from the tips of the cues as the balls are smashed, crushed and otherwise destroyed!
