The PADI Instructor internships at Blue Season Bali are one of the most sought after diving internships in Asia. Becoming a PADI Instructor is a dream for many divers, but becoming a good scuba diving instructor is where our PADI instructor internship comes in to play.
At Blue Season Bali we have put together a diving instructor internship that develops you to work in the real world as a PADI Instructor. Whilst there are basic performance requirements in a PADI IDC, at BSB we add the extra real life experience and workshops so that you are truly prepared to live the dream as a PADI Instructor.
PADI Instructor Internships - How does it run?
Prerequisites for the PADI Instructor Internship Course
To take this PADI Instructor Internship course in Bali, you must be:
- 18 years old
- A PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
- A PADI Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
- An Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (or qualifying first aid and CPR training from another organization) course completion within the past 24 months.
- A PADI Divemaster (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
- Have at least 60 dives to begin the course and 100 for certification.
- Be fit for diving and submit a Medical Statement (PDF) signed by a physician within the last 12 months.

Your PADI Instructor Internship can start any day!
To start the PADI Instructor Internship you will need to sign up with us in advance so that we can make certain arrangements such as visa sponorship, training materials, airport transfers and accommodation. To confirm your place in this scuba diving instructor internship, we simply require a 25% deposit.
For the PADI Scuba Instructor Internship you will need to either sign up for IDC eLearning online or participate in our eLearning classroom sessions in order to complete the independent study portions of the PADI IDC. This is a two day process if you undertake it at Blue Season Bali. If you do it online then these two days in Bail can be spent diving.
Upon arrival in Bali we will settle you in and give you an orientation to the PADI instructor internship program. We always have divers in various stages of our divemaster internship and isntructor internship programs, so you will have an instant social network upon arrival. Expect to make a lot of friends! For the first month of the PADI instructor internship we will look at undertaking five PADI specialty courses, get you assisting on some PADI courses and generally preparing you for the PADI Instructor Course.
During the Instructor course you will participate in our 28 Day special PADI IDC which will go through the IDC preparation, IDC course, EFR Instructor and MSDT preparation, plus you will receive a number of additional workshops.
After we have finished with the PADI IDC we will then get you working alongside our experienced Instructors so that you can get real life teaching experience. This experience is extremely valuable when it comes time to get your first job as a scuba diving instructor!

NOTE: Other instructor internship programs lure you in with promises of "unlimited diving" with the caveat that you will be allowed to dive only if there is space. All diving internship participants at Blue Season Bali are guaranteed unlimited diving every day, no matter what our day guest roster looks like.
