Each of the following activities can be arranged at the front office or with guest relations each morning at
breakfast.
Tours leave daily and are subject to weather conditions.
BIRD WATCHING
With over 120 species of bird thriving in the national park, many of them on the endangered species list, a guided tour is a rewarding
experience.
Look out for the Bali Starling and visit our breeding program, these rare and endemic birds are fearlessly protected as they fight their way back from extinction.

TREKKING & BIKING
Explore the jungle on foot or jump on a bike. Listen to our trained guides share their secrets, find out which leaf to use for antiseptic and which one to grab for the perfect manicure.
Discover some of the best views, only reachable on foot. Keep quiet to discover the Menjangan Deer, a unique species whom the resort borrows its name from. Chance upon a monitor
lizard sunning himself on a warm rock or a family of monkeys in search of lunch. Our guides can answer your questions about the
conservation projects the resort is involved in and the many
animals, flora and fauna that live in the park. A forest trek is a great introduction to Menjangan National Park, an opportunity discover at your own pace.

HORSE RIDING
Experience the beauty of Menjangan National Park on horseback.
Take in the views of the jungle and beach, guided by the
Menjangan’s trained staff who tailor each trek to suite your
riding ability.
We recommend early morning or late afternoon for horse
trekking, to avoid the heat of the midday sun. The two hour
afternoon trek ensures you see the best of the national parks varied landscapes; from the forest to savannah to the beach and coral reefs. Make the most of the evening light and join a late afternoon trek, leaving at either 4 pm or 5 pm. Bring your
camera to capture the incredible beauty of Menjangan.

SNORKEL AT MENJANGAN ISLAND
Seven world class dive sites lie off the coast of Menjangan Island, a short boat ride from The Menjangan. This small, uninhabited island off the North West coast is one of the most spectacular coral reefs in Bali. Underwater sites range from sheltered and shallow coral gardens to vertical reef walls smothered with sea fans. From pygmy seahorses to schools of snappers, vivid gorgonians to reef sharks, sand banks with garden eels to magnificent formations of hard corals. Visibility is normally excellent, ranging between 15 and 50 meters.
Did you know: Menjangan Island is also called Deer Island because of the Menjangan Deer, a species endemic to this part of Indonesia they make an annual migration across the channel from the mainland of Bali to the island.
