diving bali with Blue Season Bali

Work out the real cost!

A gentleman walked into our shop yesterday in Sanur after having a days diving in Tulamben.  This gentleman had been emailing us for some time about diving in Bali although just before his planned trip, he decided to cancel his booking with Blue Season Bali.  So when he walked into our shop yesterday I was a little surprised as i was not expecting to see him.

He had chosen to go with another dive company in the kuta region as it was much cheaper than our company.  In fact they worked out to be USD35 per day cheaper than Blue Season Bali.  By the look on this mans face, he knew he had made a bad decision!

It is easy to look back in hindsite and say that you should have paid that little extra to receive a quality dive experience, rather than one where you come back wishing you had stayed in bed.  It is impossible to get professional dive guides, quality dive equipment, quality dive vessels and vehicles, good lunches, insurance and all the other little extras when you pay a cheap price.  It is just a reality of economics.  If you pay a cheap price, i can guarantee that you will be missing out on something.  Maybe it will be poorly maintained dive equipment or unprofessional and uncertified dive guides.  Whatever it is, if  you love diving, you want to make sure that you get the best service available to ensure your memories of diving in Bali are memories you want to keep, not forget.

When you are choosing who to dive with next time in Bali, remember that cost should be the last thing you are concerned about.
