PADI Scuba Diving Instructor - get your preferred PADI instructor hereTips from the Experts - How to choose your Dive Instructor.

How many of you out there have thought about taking a scuba diving course?  Or maybe you have been thinking about where to take your professional PADI Divemaster or Instructor course?  There are a number of decisions that need to be made but one of the most important ones is who will be your Instructor, and how will that affect your course.

We will all want to enjoy our scuba diving course but, at the same time, we also need to ensure that we are properly trained and ready to dive safely.  Ensuring that your Instructor is professional, well trained and cares about your individual development is very important.  So many students will come to us and complain of previous Instructors who were unable or unwilling to provide the time and support in order to train them effectively.

As a rule of thumb, there are a few good questions that you can ask to determine if the Instructor is going to be suitable for you.  When checking out a dive center / instructor you can always copy and paste these questions.

With my course, if I need extra time for skill development, will the instructor make it available to me?
Will that extra time cost any extra?
Are your PADI instructors full time employees or part timers?
Do they speak my language fluently?
How many of the <put your course in here> has the Instructor taught?
Does the Instructor carry Public Liability Insurance?
Am I guaranteed success? ( The answer should not be yes!)
If I cannot finnish the course, for what ever reason, do I get a refund?

Of course you may have some of your own relevant questions.  At Blue Season Bali we ensure that all of our instructors have ample experience in teaching the courses before being let out in the field on their own.  We have a very productive internship program for PADI Divemasters and PADI Instructors whereby new PADI Instructors get to team teach alongside our more experienced Instructors.  This is a great way to get the enthusiasm of new PADI Instructors couples with the skills and knowledge of experienced PADI Instructors.

We also ensure that you have all the time you need when it comes to completing the course.  If you are struggling with one component of the course then we will ensure you get that extra attention needed in order to solve those problems.
