From the Directors - August was a bumper month for Blue Season Bali with loads of great things happening and lots of happy customers coming in and out of the water.
We always talk about the Mola Mola so it would not be fair to miss that out. As we move into September and October the sightings will be increasing even more with large numbers of Mola Mola sighted in Nusa Penida. So far it has been a good season for sightings.
For all those people that came to see us at MIDE (Malaysia Dive Exhibition) we would like to say a big thank you. It was great to see you there and we hope you benefited from the great offers we had. We are looking forward to seeing you in Bali in the coming months.
Last month we announced our new Tec Diving courses. This month we are really happy to announce our new Tec Diving Internships. If the course is not enough and you love spending time gaining tec diving experience in Bali then our new internships will be just for you.
August also was the start of four new PADI Professional Instructors. Chris, Laura, Tammy and Lorena all passed their PADI IDC with Platinum Course Director Jonathan. They will now begin their new lives as PADI Instructors – watch this space for their future adventures.
Six of Bali’s PADI Dive Centres will go head to head on 9th September 2010 in Project AWARE Foundation’s first ever 5 A-Side Soccer Tournament. Blue Season Bali and the other dive centers involved aim to raise over $2,000 for the charity that works with divers to conserve underwater environments through education, advocacy and action.
Blue Season Bali, Bali Crystal Divers, Puri Wirata Dive Resort, Divemasters, Bali Hai Diving Adventures and Atlantis International will swap their diving fins for football boots during the 5 A-Side soccer game. Each dive centre team will be scored on a point system with the winning teams progressing through to the Semi’s and then the Final. Only one team will be named “Bali Soccer Champion 2010.” If you are in town, please come by and support the Blue Season Bali football team.
And finally this month I would like to announce our new updated website, www.idc-bali-internships.com that has been revamped to provide even more quality information about our scuba diving internships. We hope you enjoy that and look forward to seeing you in Bali.
