Scuba Diving Internships - PADI Professionals
First up congratulations to Jamal and Javier on becoming Blue Season Bali's newest PADI Instructors!! Storming though the examination without any hiccups let hope Javier’s wife can replicate him next month also. We always know Westy knew there would be no problems!
The IDC program since the involvement of the new E-learning components has made it far easier to concentrate on the in water sections of the course, meaning the candidates get more time and more experience teaching the skills and learning from their mistakes and less time on the classroom presentations which lets face it isn't what most people come to Bali for!
The Divemaster Program since its performance requirement additions in early June has meant a few interesting days with the internships, most notably the dsd workshops that we fitted into our Thursday workshop schedule. Four of your Divemaster peers pretending to be first time scuba divers.....causing you all the problems under the sun....what could be worse! The mapping workshop by the DMTs in which mapped the whole of the artificial reef at Amed proved a very worthwhile event with some excellent work being produced, the winner winning a beer at the Blue Season Bali BBQ that happens every Friday now.
Speaking of the Blue Season Bali BBQs, they have been a huge success here over recent weeks and have really brought everybody fully together. So far we have had Indonesian, Japanese, English, Indian & German each one producing some amazing food and entertainment (renditions of Queens Don't stop me now sung by the interns and a Bangra Dance off on Indian night).
