Padang Bai Snorkeling
A white sandy bottom with beautiful clear waters and one of Bali's finest reefs - it can only be Blue Lagoon!
Marine life: keep an eye out for cuttle fish as this is one of their favourite playgrounds, also emperor angel fish, surgeon fish, moorish idols, moray eels, cow fish and sometimes hawksbill turtles. We've also seen the occasional white tip reef shark in this area.
Water Temperature: Padang Bai waters can range from 19 degrees to 28 degrees depending on the time of year. Needless to say we'll throw in a FREE wetsuit to keep you warm should the water temperature be a bit chilly.

Recommended for:
Snorkelers who enjoy boat trips, Padang Bai is particularly suitable for families as the waters are usually calm making it a very enjoyable snorkeling day out for parents and children; it is also suitable for new snorkelers.
Tips:
- Sunscreen, it's a must on any Bali snorkeling trip.
- Snacks - that sea air can make you ravenous and it's quite a long time from breakfast until lunch time: we suggest some fruit or crackers to help tide you over.
- An underwater camera means you can take those memories home with you.
So you like peace and quiet and really want to get away from it all? Then why not try the unspoilt waters of Menjangen National Marine Park.
"Why not take your snorkeling to the next level and try a PADI Skin Diver Course? You’ll learn new skills, including how to control buoyancy which will enable you to venture further than snorkelers and explore more."
