The largest shark known was the Megalodon, which is now extinct; it grew up to 40 feet (12m) long and had teeth the size of a human's hand
PADI Adventure Diver - How does it work?
Prior to starting the course, we will give you the PADI Adventures in Diving manual for you to study the appropriate sections, or you may choose to do the online learning. Once you are ready we will pick you up from your hotel and take you for some exciting dives.
The PADI Adventure Diver certification course with Blue Season Bali includes any three of the following Adventure Dives:
- Adventure Dives available to divers 10 years old and older:
- Additional Adventure Dives available to divers 12 years old and older:
You can choose any of these adventure to do, according to what interests you. If you plan to move onto the PADI Advanced Open Water certification then you need to keep in mind that you must have the Deep and Navigation adventure dives for this course.
When you sign up for the PADI Adventure diver course we will discuss with you about the options and what suits your requirements. There are many selections so you may find a chat with our Instructors will really help you to understand more about each dive.
PADI Adventure Diver - Where will I dive?
The three PADI Adventure dives are conducted over one day so it is so easy for those with little time to complete this course. Each dive is accompanied by a knowledge review that needs to be completed. Our PADI Instructors will go over this with you either before, or after the dives.
As a rule we will be doing some quality diving in Nusa Penida and Tulamben. Both of these locations offer excellent diving with so much marine life and healthy coral reefs. We also dive in Sanur when the conditions are very good and our customers need more time with other components of the course.
Locations also depend on the adventure dives you have chosen. For example, the drift adventure dive would be done at Nusa Penida where we have some superb currents. Wreck dives would of course be done at Tulamben where we have the USAT Liberty Wreck.
