Today is the first day of the PADI IE where our IDC candidates will eventually become PADI Scuba Diving Instructors. The candidates are doing the orientation and then the general standards and dive theory portion of the IE. Tomorrow they will go onto their knowledge Development presentation before doing the confined water work at Bali Scuba.
As soon as they have successfully finished their three days of examination we can celebrate another crop of PADI professional Scuba Instructors.
As Scuba Instructors they will now go out and start to teach new scuba divers through our scuba diving internships program at Blue Season Bali. Here they will receive lots of real life teaching experience, working alongside our experienced PADI Instructors.

If you want to experience some of the most unspoilt and beautiful wall dives in Bali, then you need to be diving Menjangan. Menjangen Island offers great diversity and boasts magnificent gorgonian fans and dramatic backdrops, perfect for capturing impressive underwater images. The whale sharks seem to like it up here as well as it’s the most popular place in Bali for sightings!
Today we have divers doing our Mystical Menjangan dive safari that will allow them to do some great diving in the Menjangan National Park. Blue Season Bali has a dive operation based in North Bali that allows perfect access to the area. You can take a look at our Bali Diving Resort here.

Today at BSB 30/8/2010 – Bali Sunfish Dive Trips
Posted On: 30 August 2010
After the hectic day of diving yesterday at Nusa Penida it is great to report that Bali Sunfish sightings are going really well. For those braving the cold thermo clines of Nusa Penida the rewards are there as we experience many Mola Mola (Sunfish) and lots of Manta rays.
Just yesterday our divers experienced seven, yes seven, Manta’s all lined up in a row gliding through the dive site. A very impressive site!

Today at BSB 28/8/2010 – Scuba Internships
Posted On: 28 August 2010
Today we have a new member to our Scuba Diving internship team who will be starting his PADI Divemaster course with us at Blue Season Bali. Our professional scuba internships differs to other dive centers in Bali in that we focus on developing professionals, rather than just sending out people with a certification card. Our team of PADI Course Directors, Master Instructors and PADI IDC Staff Instructors take an active role in everyone’s education.
If you are considering professional scuba diving training here in Bali, just go ahead and check three things before committing to an internship program:
First, is the person you contact actually going to be there during your internship?
Second, how many PADI course directors live here to support your training?
Third, by "unlimited diving," do they mean you'll be guaranteed a spot to dive every day, or just when they can squeeze you into the diving schedule?
We are here to help you make the right decision about your PADI internship.

Divemaster skills
Posted On: 25 August 2010
Each Wednesday the Blue Season Bali pool is filled with PADI Divemaster course participants for the development and evaluation of their professional divemaster skills circuit. These skills are used and practiced to help divemasters become proficient in assisting student divers during PADI scuba courses. While some divemaster programs around the world feature one or two opportunities to develop these skills, no so at Blue Seson Bali.
Why? Our company mission is one of quality. When applied to professional development it means that we strive to train the most competent and confident dive professionals in the industry. The foundation of employability is in a person's skills and experience. We have taken this fact and applied it to the structure of our divemaster internship programs.
Whether you aim to become a great diver, a professional divemaster or eventually to on to become a PADI instructor, these programs are designed to support your development as a diver and help you reach your goals.
