Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year

Just a short message to all of you out there that haved dived with us over the years to have a Merry Christmas and to wish you all health and happiness in 2010. It's been a pleasure diving with you and we hope to see you back in Bali's beautiful waters really soon!

10th December 2009

December 2009

Bali is enjoying a very quiet period at the moment, but we know it won't last as that Christmas and New Year rush is just around the corner. This time of year at Blue Season Bali is being put to good use though; our boat Bali Ocean II is having it's annual overhaul, both vehicles have been in for maintenance and our new uniforms have arrived, ready for next year - however we are not unveiling them until Jan1st 2010 as we thought it would be nice to start the New Year with a smart new image.

We have also been working on improving our Nusa Penida lunches and are now providing fruit after the first dive, lunch and treats after the second and refreshing water melon after the third. Our Guest Survey ratings for food quality have gone up since we made the changes so your comments have helped us improve our quality (thank-you).

We are also working on some brand NEW packages for 2010 which will be revealed in the New Year, all I can say is they are unlike any dive packages we have done before and will be really great for those of you travelling long haul!

5th November 2009

Julia Roberts in Bali

So after going flat out to Nusa Penida, every day during high season (and without a hitch), Bali Ocean II has finally gone in for a well deserved rest and her usual maintenance overhaul. Although we always miss using our own boat, it is never usually a problem as it's low season in Bali, and My Darling 8 is usually a very good substitute...............except she isn't available to us anymore as Julia Roberts and her Hollywood Production team have kidnapped her and taken her to Lombok! Bring back the boat Julia, we'll be happy to show you round Bali's beautiful dive sites.

October 2009

Although high season in Bali has began to wind down, October is still far busier than recent years. The Sunfish season is drawing to a close, but we are still having sightings (one yesterday, and three a few days earlier) meaning those big boys are still around....we never get tired of seeing Sunfish!

As for Blue Season Bali, apart from having our regular fun diving trips to Tulamben, Padang Bai and Nusa Penida, we also have an IDC (Instructor Development Course) going on at the moment with Jon, our onsite Course Director......... I'll keep you updated with a post after the IE.

If you're thinking of coming to Bali, don't forget to check out our Special Offers before you arrive, we've even got one for our snorkelling guests. Hopefully, we'll see you soon!
