Drift Diver

The PADI Drift Diver Specialty course in Bali introduces you to the coolest magic carpet ride you’ll ever experience. This course shows you how to enjoy river and ocean currents by “going with the flow,” staying with your dive partner, communicating with the dive boat and knowing where you are the whole time. And one of the best things is you get to dive at one of Bali’s best diving sites – Nusa Penida.

As with all PADI courses we will get you to complete the Independent study prior to the course. For the Drift Diver specialty course you will read the drift diving section from the Adventures in Diving manual, complete the knowledge review and have it checked by our Instructor when you arrive at our office.

After all the paperwork has been done we will depart for three dives. The course itself is only 2 dives but we provide you an extra free fun dive given the diving is so good!

When we return to the mainland the Instructor will then log your dives and issue your PADI certification. You are now a PADI Drift Diver Diver!

  • Buoyancy-control, navigation and communication for drift diving
