As the sun sets, you don your dive gear, slip on your scuba mask and bite down on your dive regulator. A deep breath and you step off the boat – into the underwater night. Although you’ve seen this reef many times before, this time you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light.

- Have a PADI Open Water Diver certification (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)
- Be at least 12 years old.
As with all PADI courses we will get you to complete the Independent study prior to the course. For the Night Diver specialty course you will read the Night Diver manual, complete the knowledge reviews and have it checked by our Instructor when you arrive at our office.
After all the paperwork has been done we will depart for the first of three dives. As we have to do just night dives, this course will be run over two or three nights. During the dives you’ll learn:[/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=”Where will I dive?”]
- Night dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential problems
- How to control your buoyancy at night
- Entries, exits and underwater navigation at night
- Nocturnal aquatic life, since many of the plants and animals you’ll see are different
After the knowledge review and dives have been completed we will issue your PADI certification. You are now a PADI Night Diver!
The PADI Night Diver course is done at Tulamben or Sanur. Both of these locations offer superb night diving with marine invertebrate life to be seen. We choose these locations as you are guaranteed to have a great night dive.[/vc_accordion_tab][/vc_accordion]
