Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a full dive course, PADI Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it.
Discover SCUBA Diving with Blue Season Bali and open up a whole new world of underwater adventure. For all of those water enthusiasts who have never dived before, our PADI Discover SCUBA Diving program, or intro dive as it is more commonly known, is conducted to give you the most enjoyable underwater adventure that you will never forget.
Discover SCUBA Diving Bali - How does it work?
The Discover SCUBA Diving program is there to provide you with an experience of the underwater world under the supervision of our professional PADI Instructors. Our instructors will be with you at all times, guiding you through every step of the SCUBA diving experience whilst showing you magical marine life in Bali that you will never forget.
The female seahorse produces eggs, but the male carries them until they hatch, making the seahorse the only animal in which the male is pregnant.
The first step is to sign up. We will go through the paperwork and ensure that you are medically fit for diving. Anyone who is generally healthy can scuba dive but if in doubt, please contact us.
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to our dive center in Sanur. Here we will check the equipment sizes for you and then travel to the dive site. The next step is to get wet! Depending on the location, we will brief you and then get you to practice some basic scuba diving skills in either the pool, or very shallow, calm waters off the beach.
Once this is done it now time for our Instructor to show you around the dive site where you can meet with all those incredible fish and marine life. Our PADI Instructor will guide you through the dive, ensuring you are safe and comfortable. At Blue Season Bali we have a maximum of two DSD divers per one PADI Instructor. That is what we call quality service.
Once you have finished your dives the Instructor will sign your logbook - remember that PADI Discover Scuba Diving can be credited towards your PADI Open Water Diver certification.
PADI Discover Scuba - Where will I dive?
In Bali we have so many fantastic places to dive that you will want to dive again and again. The most popular locations for the PADI DSD dives are at Padang Bai and Tulamben. Both of these locations offer excellent diving with so much marine life and healthy coral reefs. If you are looking for a quick half day program then we also dive in Sanur. Although not the same quality as Tulamben or Padang Bai, this site also offers a lot of nice things to see when the conditions are good.
PADI Discover Scuba - What does it cost?
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program varies in cost depending on the location. Prices are as follows and includes:
Tulamben, 2 x DSD dives - USD135.00 per person
Padang Bai, 2 x DSD dives - USD150.00 per person
Sanur, 2 x DSD dives - USD120.00 per person
Sanur, 1 x DSD dive - USD80.00 per person
