Discover SCUBA Diving Bali
The Discover SCUBA Diving program is there to provide you with an experience of the underwater world under the supervision of our professional PADI Instructors. Our instructors will be with you at all times, guiding you through every step of the SCUBA diving experience whilst showing you magical marine life in Bali that you will never forget.
The program follows fixed PADI standards at all times to ensure your safety and quality of learning. Remember, the PADI Discover SCUBA Diving program can be credited towards your PADI SCUBA Diver Course or PADI Open Water Diver Course.
The general format of the PADI Discover SCUBA diving program follows the following system:
| Part 1 | Complete the PADI paperwork and medical questionnaire to ensure you are fit to go SCUBA diving. |
| Part 2 | View the Discover SCUBA Diving DVD or Flipchart and then listen to our Instructors Discover SCUBA Diving briefing. The instructor will check that you understand all of the information. |
| Part 3 | Practice skill development in confined water with the Instructor. You will practice skills such as underwater breathing, equalizing air spaces, mask clears, regulator recovery, and more. |
| Part 4 | Enjoy the best of Bali's dive sites with our PADI Instructor. You will complete two open water dives with our Instructor. Your Instructor will be with you always ensuring your safety and enjoyment. |
| Part 5 | Log your two Discover SCUBA Dives. The Discover SCUBA Diving program can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver course. |
Diving Medical
All students are required to undertake a diving medical prior to the start of the course. We strongly recommend that you take this medical prior to your arrival in Bali.
Here at Blue Season Bali, we have a variety of Bali diving locations that we take people to complete the Discover SCUBA Diving program. One of the most popular locations is Tulamben where we have the USS Liberty wreck. This dive site is superb for Discover SCUBA Diving as we are able to conduct the confined water work in the calm, shallow waters off the beach before exploring the wonderful marine life that inhabits the wreck. There are also a number of other fantastic dive sites where it is possible to undertake the Discover SCUBA diving program such as Nusa Lembongan and Padang Bai.
