Snorkel All The Way
What better way to experience all that Bali has to offer by joining our safari to snorkel all the way? There are some wonderful snorkeling sites, some of which need a bit of traveling time from the south of Bali. Here is a relaxing way to enjoy the snorkeling and the wonderful scenery around Bali, but without the rush!
DAY ONE & DAY TWO
We will meet you at the airport and transfer you in air conditioned cars to your hotel in Sanur. Take a little time to settle in, relax and maybe take a short walk to Sanur Beach. Sanur has a great selection of restaurants to choose from for your evening meal. Overnight in Sanur resort
Today our driver will pick you up for an exciting day of snorkeling around the islands of Nusa Penida. After a quick visit to our dive center to complete necessary paperwork and try on your snorkel gear, it is time to head for Sanur Bay to board our boat for the 45 minute trip to Nusa Penida. We will usually visit 3 separate snorkeling sites with a rest in between for tea, coffee, lunch and fruit. Keep your eyes open for dolphins that are often seen jumping out of the water around the bays here. After an awesome day of snorkeling in the bright clear waters around Nusa Penida it is back to Sanur. Overnight in Sanur resort
DAY THREE & DAY FOUR
We hope you had a relaxing night’s sleep and you are ready for an exciting day of snorkeling at one of our favourite snorkeling sites in Bali
Once on the boat, your guide will give a safety briefing and explain all of the facilities as well as explain how the day will run. We will usually visit two separate snorkeling sites with a rest in between for tea, coffee, lunch and fruit. Blue Lagoon and Padang Bai have great corals and create an incredible environment for the hugely diverse marine life to be found in these warm and clear waters. Overnight in Sanur Resort
Today we have a trip to Amed, a gentle 2 hour drive through Bali with views of the incredibly scenic rice terraces through wonderful villages where time seems to stand still. Amed is a very relaxing fishing village that has recently come to life as one of the great snorkeling sites in Bali. The single road winds around stunning Jemeluk Bay with great views. Our base is right on the beachfront so we just have put on our snorkel gear and walk straight into the ocean. Our experienced guides will show you just where to find the best of the marine life. Ask them if there is something special that you would like to see and they will do their very best to find it for you! Transfer for overnight in Tulamben
DAY FIVE & DAY SIX
Wake up in Tulamben, home of the world famous USAT Liberty Shipwreck, one of the few places in the world where you can snorkel over a World War II wreck, an altogether amazing experience! Tulamben beach is just a short walk from your hotel and the porters will take all of the equipment down to the beach so we just need to grab the gear and walk into the ocean for the short swim to the wreck, part of which sits just 3 meters below the surface. The marine life and fish are abundant here and for many the highlight is the schooling Jack Fish, although there is so much more to see in the way of brightly coloured tropical fish. Lunch is taken at a restaurant with great views across the bay as well as towards Mount Agung which dominates Bali at 3000 meters high. After lunch we will try another snorkeling site called Coral Garden, home to many small creatures such as Ribbon Eels, Nudibranchs, Mantis Shrimps and loads of fish including the famous ‘Nemo’ or Anemone Fish. Overnight in Tulamben Resort
After breakfast we take a relaxing journey along the North Bali coast to The Menjangan Resort. Here you can relax by the pool with stunning panoramic views before indulging in an hour of therapeutic massage. Overnight The Menjangan.
DAY SEVEN & DAY EIGHT
Today we are heading to world famous Menjangan Island that lies in the West Bali National Park. This coral island is home to some of the best snorkeling in Bali with warm clear waters, dramatic walls, pristine corals and an incredible diversity of marine life that thrives in this protected environment. Look out for massive Barrel Sponges and some of the largest Gorgonian Sea Fans in Bali. Overnight The Menjangan.
Today is a day of rest. Optional activities within The Menjangan include horse back riding, hiking, cycling, kayaking or bird watching (click here for more details). After that, it is time to transfer back to south Bali. Overnight Sanur Resort
DAY NINE & DAY TEN
Today is the last day for snorkeling in Bali so we finish with a trip to 3 more snorkeling sites around the islands of Nusa Penida. Today you may see Manta Rays or spot a timid Reef Shark but you will certainly see loads of brightly coloured fish and beautiful corals. Enjoy lunch on the boat and take in the magnificent scenery around this rugged coastline inset with delightful bays to explore. Overnight Sanur Resort.
