ADVENTURES DIVES

You can CHOOSE your last three adventure dives. Here at Blue Season Bali we usually suggest Peak Performance Buoyancy, Drift and Wreck.

Are you ready to get your PADI Advanced Open Water Certification?

The PADI Adventure Diver program helps you get more out of diving by introducing you to new types of scuba diving adventures. It's a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your scuba diving skills and gain more confidence in the water.

Have you always wanted to try digital underwater photography? How about wreck diving? Here's your chance because you can sample three dives of your choice, get a taste of what you like, and feel more at ease in the water, strengthening your underwater skills and letting you enjoy scuba diving more than ever.

Prior to starting the course, we will give you the PADI Adventures in Diving manual for you to study the appropriate sections, or you may choose to do the eLearning

The PADI Adventure Diver certification course with Blue Season Bali includes any three of the following Adventure Dives:

  • AWARE-Fish Identification
  • Underwater Naturalist
  • Boat Diver
  • Underwater Navigator
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy
  • Digital Underwater Photography
  • Multilevel Diver
  • Deep Diver
  • Night Diver
  • Search and Recovery Diver
  • Drift Diver
  • Wreck Diver

You can choose any of these adventure to do, according to what interests you. If you plan to move onto the PADI Advanced Open Water certification then you need to keep in mind that you must have the Deep and Navigation adventure dives for this course.

The three PADI Adventure dives are conducted over one day so it is so easy for those with little time to complete this course. Each dive is accompanied by a knowledge review that needs to be completed. Our PADI Instructors will go over this with you either before, or after the dives.

As a rule we will be doing some quality diving in Nusa Penida and Tulamben. Both of these locations offer excellent diving with so much marine life and healthy coral reefs. We also dive in Sanur when the conditions are very good and our customers need more time with other components of the course.

Locations also depend on the adventure dives you have chosen. For example, the drift adventure dive would be done at Nusa Penida where we have some superb currents. Wreck dives would of course be done at Tulamben where we have the USAT Liberty Wreck.

The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. The great thing about this course is that you will learn a variety of new skills that will excite and challenge you at the same time. And of course this is the stepping stone to becoming a PADI Rescue Diver.

One reason you'll love the Advanced Open Water Diver course is that you and your instructor choose from 14 types of Adventure Dives to complete your course. You can try your hand at digital underwater photography, wreck diving, night diving, peak performance buoyancy and much more

Like all PADI Courses, to begin with we need to do some independent study. This can be done through eLearning or you can study the manuals whilst you are in Bali. The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is normally conducted over two days in Bali and consists of five dives, two of which are compulsory adventure dives:

  • PADI Underwater Navigator
  • PADI Deep Diver

You choose the other three.

The remaining three dives to be undertaken in Bali can be chosen from the list below:

  • ADDITIONAL ADVENTURE DIVES AVAILABLE TO DIVERS 12 YEARS OLD AND OLDER:
  • Multilevel Diver
  • Deep Diver
  • Night Diver
  • Search and Recovery Diver
  • Drift Diver
  • Wreck Diver

For the remaining three dives it is up to you to select which ones you do. We can however make a couple of recommendations. Because of the accessibility to a world class wreck we would recommend a wreck dive as being one. We also have some spectacular drift diving sites so would recommend a drift dive as being another of your choices.

The five PADI Adventure dives are conducted over two days so it does not take long for you to complete this PADI course. For those who wish to have a slower pace, we can provide private courses.

Each dive is accompanied by a knowledge review that needs to be completed. There are no exams or quizzes like in the PADI Open Water Diver course. Upon successful completion of the five dives, your instructor will go through your log books and issue you with your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Certification.

The PADI Seal Team program is broken into two parts.

Part one, Aqua Missions 1 – 5, teaches kids the basics of diving – things like buoyancy control, mask clearing, regulator recovery are covered.

After building a solid foundation of scuba skills, kids move on to part two. Part two is full of specialty Aqua Missions, which usually last about an hour each.

The best part of the Specialty AquaMissions is they reinforce safe diving skills while the kids are having fun. PADI Seals get to sample a wide variety of dives.

In addition, it provides parents with a structured program that lets their children develop skills, learn about the aquatic environment and have a lot of good, clean fun. This is also an excellent way to introduce kids to scuba diving prior to the full PADI Open Water Diver certification.

Calling all Seal Team recruits: The Seal Team crew pack includes everything a PADI Seal Team member needs to prepare for their AquaMissions. Video on DVD? Check! Activity book? Check! Log book pages? Check! You are now cleared for an underwater adventure…

Upon successful completion of the first five AquaMissions, students become PADI Seal Team members. Upon successful completion of 10 additional specialty Aqua Missions, students become Master Seal Team members.

When kids are 10 years old, they can complete the Junior PADI Open Water Diver certification.
