Meet the team – all about Chris
If you have followed our recent Facebook updates, you must have noticed we have a new member of staff at Blue Season. His name is Chris Wood and if you haven’t met him yet, it’s about time you do.
Originally from London, Chris used studied civil engineering after which he did some freelance work in the architecture industry. He then worked for EA as 3D Technical Artist and worked on projects like FIFA, Harry Potter, Quake and Star Wars. After a decade of working in this industry he decided to quit his job and get some fresh air – Compressed air that is. Underwater!
Chris joined our team as a Divemaster intern a year ago. He decided to become an Instructor and even worked his way up to become a PADI Staff Instructor. Many of our interns and guests had the pleasure of being taught by Chris, who always teaches with passion and big smile on his face; it even resulted in some good reviews of TripAdvisor! Currently Chris is one of our Directors, but fortunately he is still involved with all sorts of training – from Open Water courses to Instructor Development Courses, he does it all.
Apart from diving, Chris also seems to enjoy singing. Well, in Linga Longa bar at least, on the stage. With in one hand the mic, in the other and ice cold beer!
